Virtual X Window sessions

A virtual X Window session initially is not displayed on a real X Window server, but uses a virtual, invisible X Window server without display or input devices.

The XmetaX product contains the virtual X Window server xvx, which implements a virtual X11 session (Server). At start or later this session may be transferred to a real, remote X Window server (Client), from which the session may be controlled, too.
